Matthew Hawiszczak

Matthew Hawiszczak is an accomplished architect at O’Brien Architects. Raised in Richardson, Texas, Matthew’s early interests in both veterinary science and construction eventually led him to architecture, where he found his true calling. After completing his education at Texas Tech University, Matthew built a foundation in the profession that has allowed him to steadily grow and take on greater responsibilities, from project management to leadership. 

His path has been influenced by several key figures in his life, including family and a mentor who encouraged him to pursue an MBA to better prepare for leading a firm. 

Outside of the office, Matthew enjoys indulging in his love for history, often seeking out new adventures in places like Rome, Italy, where he can dive into the past. When he’s not traveling, you’ll likely find him catching up on his favorite TV shows, like Star Trek: Deep Space Nine or The Expanse.
