Judith Smith, RA

Judith Smith is an architect at O’Brien Architects, with an appreciation for both structure and spontaneity, Judith approaches both life and design with creativity, curiosity, and a good sense of humor.

Growing up in Mission, Texas, she originally envisioned a career as a surgeon but found her passion in design, where she could combine problem-solving with hands-on craftsmanship. Earning her architecture license was a proud milestone, but even more fulfilling has been the opportunity to mentor others, helping them grow in their own careers. 

Outside of work, Judith is an artist at heart, painting in acrylics and oils and sculpting with clay, metal, and wood. When she’s not creating, she enjoys simple pleasures like relaxing with good food, a great cup of coffee, or spending time outdoors with her pups.
