Jacob Prado

Jacob Prado is a designer at O’Brien Architects with a passion for creating visually striking and well-balanced spaces. Growing up in Juarez, Chih., Mexico, he was drawn to construction and design from an early age, fascinated by how spaces shape experiences. His career is guided by precision, proportion, and context, ensuring each project is both functional and aesthetically compelling. 

Inspired by his parents’ advice—his mother’s emphasis on kindness and his father’s encouragement to seek new opportunities—Jacob embraces continuous growth in both his personal and professional life. 

Beyond design, he enjoys discovering new restaurants and bars, particularly those offering craft cocktails or local IPAs, and makes it a point to revisit Denmark, where he studied abroad in high school.
