The North Texas PGA Headquarters in Frisco harmoniously blends Texas modern architecture with a deep commitment to golf, community, and education. The headquarters, named after Dr. Jerry J. Ransom, is a 7,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility that serves as the epicenter for NTPGA’s more private activities. Adjacent to this building is the Randy Smith and Dr. Bill Blair Who’s Next Pavilion, a 2,500-square-foot building specifically designed for the NTPGA more public programs, such as the Foundation’s community outreach, growth of the game program and others. The architecture is reflective of NTPGA’s vision and mission and is planned around an “Urban Golf” concept, which offers a no barrier entry for everyone wanting to experience golf. This spirit of inclusivity is interwoven into every aspect of the architectural design: the building heights and materiality blend in with the adjacent golf courses and Frisco landscape, canopies provide both shade and communal spaces for public interaction, and thoughtful building connections serve as visual cues, guiding users through the space to explore the organization’s rich history. Lastly, NTPGA placed a strong emphasis on growing the sport and supporting the youth community, which is why there is current and future donor recognition infrastructure incorporated into the design of the development.
Overall, this visionary project seamlessly integrates private office and public uses, world-class amenities, educational spaces, a vibrant community center, all while honoring Dr. Jerry J. Ransom’s enduring legacy, fostering inclusivity, and leaving a lasting positive impact on both the golfing world and the Frisco community.
