Pizzeria Testa brings the ambience and flavors of a real Italian pizzeria to the heart of Frisco Square. Led by Mick Granlund, the O’Brien team worked alongside owner Rod Schaefer to recreate a genuine, Naples dining experience. Imported from Italy, two imposing, 7,000 pound wood burning ovens serve as the interior’s focal point. Reclaimed materials, including Chicago red brick, and distinctive furnishings bring authentic style to the project. The building’s architecture perfectly complements Italian chef Michele D’Amelio’s to-die-for fire-roasted pizzas.
